Quantum Leap starred Scott Bakula as Dr Sam Beckett and Dean Stockwell as Al Calavicci. It had a brilliant premise - Sam was led to inhabit the body of someone due to die or have something major happen to ensure that it either did or did not occur. The series ran from 1989 to 1993 and is a cult favourite. Oh boy.
